A beautiful example of vintage Australian jewellery. This sterling silver and marcasite brooch is by Lega, a jewellery manufacturer operating in Melbourne in the mid century. 

CONDITION
The brooch is in beautiful vintage condition. All marcasites are present, and the safety chain is still attached. The brooch fastens securely with a simple C clasp.

MEASUREMENTS
The brooch is approximately 35 mm wide and 35 mm high.

STAMPS
The back of the brooch is stamped GENUINE MARCASITE, STG SIL and Lega in a cursive script.
