An exquisite butterfly brooch by Hroar Prydz of Norway. The brooch features enamel in a beautiful vibrant shade of blue, on sterling silver gilt.
CONDITION The brooch is in excellent vintage condition. There is no damage at all to the enamel and the butterfly's antennae have not been bent. The rollover clasp fastens securely. There is some wear and tarnish to the silver gilt on the back of the brooch.
MEASUREMENTS The brooch is approximately 50 mm across and 28 mm high.
STAMPS The back of the brooch is stamped STERLING 925S NORWAY with the Hroar Prydz maker's mark. There is also the JEJ stamp which appears on some Hroar Prydz pieces.
